Terms of service
Home / Terms of service
Plain rules for using Remote Work BD. By signing in you agree to them.
Accounts
- You need a Google account with a verified email address.
- One person, one account. Running more than one is the thing most likely to get every account involved closed.
- You must be at least 18, or old enough to work legally where you live.
- Do not share your account with anyone.
For workers
- Do the task as it is written and send the proof it asks for.
- Each job can be done once. At most 3 tasks from one buyer per day and 25 in total per day.
- Proof must be your own work. Reusing proof, editing screenshots or submitting for work you did not do is fraud, not a shortcut.
- 5 rejected tasks within 3 days suspends an account automatically for 7 days.
For buyers
- A job must be funded before it goes live. The full cost is held in escrow.
- Write instructions somebody can actually follow, and say exactly what proof you want. Vague instructions cause most rejections.
- Review submissions in reasonable time and give a reason with every rejection.
- Rejecting good work to avoid paying is a breach of these terms. Workers can report it, an administrator can see the proof, and buyers who do it lose the ability to post.
- Do not ask for anything illegal, anything requiring somebody's personal documents, or anything that breaks another platform's rules in a way that could get a worker's own accounts closed.
Money
- Approved work pays the worker the full listed rate. Nothing is taken at that point, from either side.
- We take 10% when a worker withdraws. It is shown before the request is confirmed.
- The smallest withdrawal is ৳100.00.
- Withdrawals are checked and paid by a person, so allow a little time.
- Balances are not a deposit account. We are not a bank and money here is not insured.
Suspension and closure
We may suspend an account while we look into something, and close one for fraud, multiple accounts, or repeated breaches. Where an account is closed for fraud, money in it may be withheld and used to refund buyers whose jobs were affected.
If you think a decision was wrong, say so through support. A person reads it.
What we do not promise
We do not guarantee that work will be available, that any particular job will be approved, or that the site will be uninterrupted. We are the marketplace and the escrow between two parties; the work itself is between the buyer and the worker.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that affects you, the site will tell you. Continuing to use it after that means you accept the change.
