Refunds and cancellation

What happens to money that has not been paid out yet.

Cancelling a job

A buyer can cancel any job at any time. Everything still held in escrow and not yet paid out returns to their balance immediately.

Work already submitted still needs a decision. Cancelling does not make those submissions disappear, and it does not let anyone avoid paying for work already done and approvable — the money for them stays held until you approve or reject each one.

Slots nobody took

If a job finishes with unfilled slots, the money for those slots was never spent and comes back when the job is cancelled or completed.

Deposits

Money added to your balance is for buying work on this site. We do not send deposits back to a card or wallet as a matter of routine, because that is how payment systems get used for moving money rather than buying anything.

If you deposited by mistake, or a payment was taken twice, contact support with the transaction reference and we will sort it out.

A rejection you think was unfair

Report it from the task page. An administrator can see your proof, the buyer's reason and how long you spent, and can credit you directly if the rejection was wrong.

Withdrawals

A withdrawal leaves your balance as soon as you request it, so the same money cannot be withdrawn twice. If we cannot pay it — wrong number, account closed — it is returned to your balance in full with the reason.

Chargebacks

Reversing a payment through your bank or wallet after spending the balance closes the account. If something is wrong, ask us first — it is faster and it does not cost you the account.
